Würzburg

Yesterday Scott and I got to Würzburg from Prague. It was the easiest trip thus far with no mistakes made. We are staying with Marion and Frank, friends of Scott. Within hours of being in Würzburg we were out on a 3+ hours ride all around the countryside. The roads were super nice and the scenery was something else.

Today I went to try to find some MTB riding. Being warned repeatedly that i would get lost I took my chances and headed out. While I didn't get lost, I certainly could have used the help of a local. The trails were either 500m long or just overgrown. As soon as I found a fun trail it was over, spitting me back out onto a jeep road. I did find a few trails, steep trails.

The 20 second decent had to worked for though.

It was fun and frustrating at the same time. I worked way too hard today to ride what I did, but then again getting lost in the forest here isn't all that bad.

The rest of the day has been spent walking around town and making food. Since I arrived in Europe I have had a hard time eating enough. It's so nice having a kitchen to cook food in. I feel like I'm making up for the past week in two days. Tonight we are going to a party with Marion and Frank. It's supposed to be the equivalent of a "White Trash" theme. Should be interesting and fun. Tomorrow Scott and I head to Zurich, I'll keep you posted.
