The past week has been full of adventures of all kinds. I arrived in Munich about 4 days ago and since then its been a blur. Upon arriving I managed to find my Hostel. The first days were minimal as I tried to get caught up on sleep and get my bearings. Of course when your in a foreign country, wondering around aimlessly isn't all that bad. The buildings in Munich were pretty cool, and most of the people spoke english. All in all I think it was a good City to start my Euro Tour with as it was pretty friendly for outsiders such as myself.

After Scott got into town we went to go pickup our car that we're leasing. Not too shabby.

Oh did I mention that it only has 30km on it?

With both a road atlas and map quest directions we still managed to get lost in Munich.

2 hrs later we found our place, it should have taken us 25 mins from when we left but oh well, like I said, getting lost isn't that bad.
On the flight down I met Alexandra who used to live in Munich. Her and her friend were kind enough to show us around and take us sight seeing the next day.

While sight seeing we saw a group of Asian tourists getting a guiding tour.

Scott couldn't resist.

Being in Germany, we finished up the day right with some good local brew.

The next day was our trip to Prague. The autobahn sounds pretty fun, and it is, as long as your comfortable driving like a race car driver. Doing 170km isn't anything to laugh at, unless you're on the highways in germany. In which case you get smoked!

The drive wasn't bad though.

As we entered the Czech Republic we started to notice that the signs we in Czech. No surprise there, except that reading Czech is the equivalent to playing a never ending game of memory...Match the words on the directions to the words on the signs, easier said than done.
Uh......straight.....

Not to mention that when you get into the city 90% of the roads don't have signs! We found our hotel anyway.
Nothing fancy but its only 3 mins to the tram.

Our first night in Prague we managed to get downtown to take a look. Prague is pretty awesome. The buildings and architecture blows my mind and everything is clean.

The next day Scott and I went out on a long ride. The countryside is beautiful and there are hardly any cars once you get out of town which took us about 10 minutes.

Scott is trying to get rid of his tan lines. Apparently he hasn't figured out that he only fighting the inevitable.

Later that day we went downtown to watch the first day of Eurofest 2008. The Czech Republic played Swizterland.

the crowds were huge, the beer was flowing and thefans were going crazy for their teams. Overall it was a pretty cool experience.
Today I started my day off right. 750g to be exact. Oh YEa

Then I continued the trend and hit up some local mtb trais.

We leave Prague tomorrow and head to Wurzburg to stay with some friends, Should be a good time. I'll start updating more readily now as things are starting to get more routine.
